Dr. S. K. Shukla

Dr. S. K. Shukla is Forensic Scientist (M.Sc., Ph.D.) with 46 years of experience in Research, Education, Training and Management and forensic case Examinations. He is the Former Director, LNJN NICFS, Delhi Campus of National Forensic Science University, MHA, GOI, Delhi. Under his guidance 18 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees in the areas of Forensic Chemistry, Toxicology, DNA fingerprinting, Questioned Documents, Biology, Ballistics, Computer Forensics and Criminology. He has published more than 220 Research Papers and presented more than 100 papers in conferences. He has chaired many scientific sessions in conferences and seminars as well as have delivered invited talks regularly on various national and international forums. He has served as Chief Examiner and approved guide for research for various universities. In addition, he has acted as Advisor/ Expert in various selection boards at Central and State level for the selection of officers in Govt. departments He has also worked as Director at Central Forensic Science Laboratories (CFSL) Hyderabad, Chandigarh, MHA, GOI. He has conducted training programmes, examined several thousand crime cases, investigated crime scenes and deposed in courts of law as an expert. He has also been trained in Netherlands and FBI, USA in the field of instrumentation and Quality Management.
