Dr. Humayoun Temoor Baig

Dr Baig is the country’s only qualified forensic odontologist in Pakistan. He obtained a degree in forensic odontology from an institution in the United Kingdom where he got trained under the supervision of New Scotland Yard and INTERPOL Elite Panel at the University of Glamorgan and the University of Cardiff. Hailing from Gujrat, he is currently working for the Punjab health department’s medico-legal wing in Lahore as a forensic odontologist which he joined in 2011. He is also a member of the Provincial Standing Medical Board & has since then conducted numerous identification and age estimation cases. He has had the honour of submitting the Odontology curriculum to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council for Dental undergraduates. He has worked for the DVI unit in Britain and is a member of several international forensic odontology wor­king groups, including Interpol.
