Dr. Didar Singh Walia

Dr. Didar Singh Walia is working as an Associate Professor at Govt. Medical College, Amritsar. Prior to this, he has worked as Associate Professor (2019) and Assistant Professor (2014-2019) at Govt. Medical College, Patiala. Since 1991, he has worked as a Medical Officer at various colleges, dispensaries, and hospitals in Patiala. He has completed his MBBS from GMC Patiala, Punjabi University and MD with the specialization in Forensic Medicine from GMC Amritsar, GNDU Amritsar. He has work experience in the field of teaching, Medico-legal examination, Post-mortem examination, research, court evidence as expert witness and organizing conferences. He has membership of numerous organizations such as Indian Medical Association, Indian Academy of Forensic Science, Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology and Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology. He has published numerous publications in the various National and International journals. He has also presented his research work as an oral presentation in various Conferences at National and International level.
