Amitosh Kumar

Amitosh Kumar has been working as a Senior Scientific Officer Gr. II (Physics) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory, CBI, New Delhi since 2010 where he also worked as a Scientific Assistant as well as Lab Assistant from 1999 to 2005. The total number of cases examined &  reported by him are 675, total number of cases examined/assisted are 700, total number of crime scene visits are 480 and the total number of court attended are 440. His technical qualifications include Identification, Testing and Quality Control of Plastic Material in the subject Plastic Material from CIPET, Bhubaneshwar in 2003, Forensic Acoustics & Speaker Identification in the subject Forensic Voice Identification from CFSL, BPR&D, Chandigarh in 2002 and Induction Course in Forensic Science from NICFS, Delhi in 1999. He has imparted numerous lectures and training to officers of various ranks in CBI, NIA, Judicial Officers and other state investigation agencies. He has presented several publications in national as well as international conferences.
