Dr. Aman Chowdhry

Dr. Aman Chowdhry is currently working as a Professor at Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He completed his Bachelor and Master of Dental Surgery in 2002 and 2005, respectively from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital. He is pursuing PhD in Dental Sciences. He has 17 years of full time academics and research experience. He received fellowship of Indian Board of Forensic Odontology (IBFO) from Indian Association of Forensic Odontology. He also worked as a Senior Lecturer at KDRC in Moradabad, Government Dental College in Rohtak, and Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College in Ludhiana. He was the Reader at PDM Dental College in Bahadurgarh and Associate Professor at Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Central Government, New Delhi. He was the OPD In-charge at Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi for a period of one year from 2010 to 2011 and Joint Secretary at Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology from 2016 to 2020. From 2018 and 2020 respectively, he is serving as a Secretary General at Indian Association of Cranio-Facial Identification and also at Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology. He is the EC Member at Indian Association of Forensic Odontology since 2020. In addition to this, he is serving as Lifetime Honorary Member at Peruvian Society of the Forensic Dentistry and Criminalistic (SPOLFOC) as well as Sociedad de Odontoestomatologos Forenses Iberoamericanos – (SOFIA) from the year 2020. His areas of interest includes Forensic Odontology, Forensic Facial Approximation, Dental Anthropology, Digital Photography, Orofacial Genetics, Enteropathogenesis & basis of disease mechanism, Evidence based Dentistry, Oral Premalignant lesions and conditions, Scientific writing & research methodology. He has published several papers under International and National Journals.
