Dr. Archana L. Mahakalkar is an assistant professor in the Government Institute of Forensic Science with demonstrated history of 6 years with doctorate of philosophy in forensic biology. She has completed her education from Gandhi Vidhyalaya Badnera,Dist Amravati with core subjects Zoology/Animal Biology. Her top skill and area of interest are in the field of DNA Extraction, Forensic Biology, DNA quantification and Barcoding, Genetic Diversity, RAPD-PCR, Forensic Anthropology, Forensic anthropology etc. She has published numerous research papers and article in renowned journals with more than 10 citation and 2000 plus reads. She has also completed 2 projects which are COVID-19 and digital platforms and Identification of Forensically Important Insect Chrysomya egacephala m (Diptera: Calliphoridae) in Criminal Investigation from Nagpur Region
